On the evening of Tuesday, March 14th, 2006 Munhall Bureau of Fire Stations 202, 203, and 204 were alerted of a structure fire with possible entrapment at the corner of Perry Street and Guy Street. The fire was called in by Asst. Chief Bovee of Station 202. It was confirmed early on that all occupants had evacuated the structure. Engine 202 arrived on scene first and assumed the first due position in front of the structure. Engine 203 was 2nd due and established a water supply for Engine 202 from the Hydrant and Guy and Lea Streets. Crews made an aggresive interior attack and had the fire knocked in a few minutes. Deputy Chief Pisarcik was the incident commander and the Allegheny County Fire Marshall's Office was on scene to investigate the cause of the fire. All units returned to their stations safely at the end of the call. EVERYONE GOES HOME!!!!
